We Interrupt Our Monthly Delivery

for a small announcement!

As you may know…

Saturday is Independent Bookstore Day, and to celebrate, I will be haunting a local bookstore! The Sword and Shovel’s address is 403 South Main Street.

See the details below (and read on for even more fun plans/schemes/machinations)

Why Should You Come?

Well, obviously, to support a local bookstore. But also because I’ll be there at 1pm, and since I have a whole hour to stand too stiffly and grin too widely at customers, I decided I’d do something fun. If you come in and say hello, I’ll tell you something secret about my new book.

Which book, you ask? I’ll let you pick! Either the one that’s completed and with my agent, or the one I’m currently working on. It may be a favorite line or a bit of world-building, but it will be something just for you.

For instance, this is a current favorite line from the one I’m working on:

Myri wasn’t nervous because she did not know yet to be afraid of a man who sat too comfortably upon his throne

And here is a cool old map I’m using for inspiration:

I promise to be back next week with a harbinger, but in the meantime, I hope to see you on Saturday!
